Introduction

Copper is represented by the symbol Cu in the periodic table as a well-known chemical element. It is a reddish metal that is very malleable, ductile, and with excellent heat and electricity conductivity. As copper metal will reflect only red and orange light and absorb other frequencies, it has a natural and beautiful reddish-gold color and can be easily identified. 

METART mainly produces 3 different types of copper and copper alloy wire mesh & wire cloth, including pure copper mesh, brass wire mesh, and phosphor bronze wire mesh.

For those wire fabrics made of coarse copper wires, they are usually called copper wire mesh whereas those fine and super fine wire fabrics are generally called copper wire cloth.

#1, Copper Wire Mesh and Copper Wire Cloth. ( up to 200x200Mesh)

Copper wire mesh is mainly referred to as copper woven wire mesh or copper woven wire cloth. It is also known as red copper mesh or shielding wire mesh.

This mesh is basically made of pure copper wires that have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, ductility, and flexibility, making it a perfect material for electronics, electric power, the communications industry, and many other industries. Meantime, its beautiful reddish-orange finish also makes it an ideal decorative mesh for architectural application.

#2, Brass Wire Mesh and Brass Wire Cloth. ( up to 200x200Mesh)

Brass is an alloy that is composed of copper and zinc. Made of brass wires ranging from coarse to very fine gauge, brass wire mesh is mainly used in the filtration industry, EMI, and RFI Shielding Facilities. And its beautiful golden yellow color also makes it favored by many architects and designers for decorative screen and artistic uses. 

#3, Phosphor Bronze Wire Mesh and Bronze Wire Cloth. (up to 500x500Mesh)

Phosphor bronze is a copper-based alloy that is consisted of 85% to 90% copper elements and 10% to 15% of tin elements.

The phosphor bronze wire mesh is also commonly named bronze wire mesh and tin copper woven wire mesh.

The bronze mesh which is made of very fine wires is always referred to as phosphor bronze wire cloth. Due to their good acid and alkali-resistance properties, bronze wire mesh and wire cloth are widely used for different industrial applications.

Similar to brass and copper mesh, bronze wire mesh also has a stunning appearance which also makes it an ideal wire mesh for decorative window screen infills or architectural purpose.
