Bushfire stainless steel wire mesh is also known as ember stainless steel mesh and ember protective woven wire which is basically a woven wire mesh that meets certain bushfire grade regulations. These woven wire meshes can be made of different raw materials including carbon steel wires, aluminium wires, brass wires, copper wires, phosphor bronze wires, stainless steel wires, and other super alloy stainless wires.

Stainless steel wire mesh has a very good outdoor performance in corrosion resistance and stunning outlook. Meantime, it is a relatively cost-effective material with a durable use life. It is then favored by most customers and end users among bushfire ember protective screen mesh options.

According to the Australia Standard AS3959-2009 Construction buildings in bushfire-prone areas, screen mesh products that are with an aperture size equal to or less than 2.0MM and are made of non-combustxible raw materials will meet the highest Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) requirement. 

Based on this regulation stainless steel woven wire mesh becomes an ideal fencing or screening product due to its flexible and diverse specifications. 

The stainless steel bushfire grade woven wire can be used in both residential and commercial buildings that are prone to bushfire risks against the embers.

METART can produce ember-protective woven wire in both rolls or sheets to meet the different requirements of the markets.

The flat bushfire wire mesh sheets range from mesh count 9x9 to 14x14.  The standard width includes 750mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1220mm, and 1500mm. And the sheet length can be cut to size based on different order requirements.

Most of our bushfire protective woven wire meshes are supplied in rolls with a standard length of 30 meters. But we could also produce and supply other roll lengths like 20 meters, or 15 meters based on your standard.

As the most commonly used bushfire grade wire mesh rolls are heavy-duty barrier wire mesh or security wire mesh, some of them can't be powder coated in rolls, including the mesh count 9x9,10x10,11x11, and 12x12.

The 14x14Mesh and 18x16Mesh bushfire ember protective wire mesh rolls are relatively light-weighted. Thus, these two items can be supplied either in black powder-coated finish or mill-finished by rolls according to customers' different requirements.

BAL-12.5 (increasing bushfire ember attack level with a heat flux up to 12.5kW/m²)

BAL-29 (increasing bushfire ember attach level and ignition of debris with a heat flux up to 29 kW/m²)
